Guten Abend!

Formula Buckeyes landed safe and sound in Frankfurt Germany! Our fearless team leader Evan Bunner used his broken german and frustrated english to get us on the train to Hockenheim. After our arrival we rolled our luggage through the cobble stone sidewalks of Hockenheim. The locals were very puzzled and confused. We figured the haven’t seen a american convoy like that since the war. We bunkered in to the Ramada hotel at noon and had a classic German lunch of a beer and schnitzel. After lunch we split up the group and sent half the team to Karlsruhe to assemble the car and the other half went to search for food.
Today we split up again to finish the car and set up camp. We met the Akron Zips and TU Fast a team from Munich. Scrutineering and the opening ceremony starts tomorrow. TU Fast are bring their truck here soon with kegs. They said they’ll teach us how to play flunky ball so I guess I’ll be explaining the rules in our next post.
Auf Wiedersehn
