Welcome to the website of The Ohio State University's Formula SAE Team

Brutus in Car 70/81

Recent News and Updates

Competition was an overall success this year! The team finished the Endurance event for the 4th straight year and netted a 27th place overall. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to Car #69, including sponsors, students, faculty and our families. Thank you all for helping our ideas become reality.

The team is excited to begin designing the 2011 car and is setting their sights on a Top 10 finish! We will continue to test and improve upon 2010's Car #69 throughout the autumn to assist in 2011's development.

We are always looking for new team members for all of our sub-teams, even over the summer. Contact the team captain, Jared Martin, or any other team leader here to find out how you can get involved!

Check out the calendar for updates and meeting postings over the summer!

Also, be sure to check out our new sponsor page!

Check out the infamous "Buckeye Burnout" on youtube and the FSAE West video. As you see from the FSAE West video, FSAE is so much more than burnouts and racing, it is an engineering competition from the ground up. Click here to see the 2008 Formula Buckeyes promo video.

Also be sure to check out our newly created Youtube Channel for new videos shot during the 2010 season!

Here is our page on the College of Engineering's Student Project's page.

DENSO has also been kind enough to make a generous donation to the team, as well as all Engineering Student Projects, and those stories are shown in the following links:

Just a reminder to everyone that NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE is necessary to be a part of the team. Most of the current team leaders started off in the same position that you are in right now, so we are happy to teach you the necessary skills to be an integral part of the team. All we ask is that you are ready and willing to learn.

We are pursuing a February 1st completion date for the 2010-2011 car, and in order to accomplish this goal, we are going to need as much help as we can get. If you are interested in joining the team or want to know more info about what exactly we do, feel free to contact the team Captains or any team leader (Contact info is on the "Roster" page) and they will be glad to help you in any way possible.
